  • Should I be worried about my origami earrings getting wet?
While our origami earrings are varnished and strengthened, they are still made of paper! ☺️ Prolonged exposure to water or moist environments could result in permanent damage. We recommend you keep your delicately handmade earrings out of harms way when water is around.
  • Is it real silver/gold?
No it isn't. We use fittings that are nickel free and stainless steel as they are the most widely accepted hypoallergenic metals. However we would be happy to take requests for gold and silver plated findings, especially if you have an allergy to alternative metals and coatings. Please contact us for a quotation if you would be interested.
  • Will the origami paper last?
We use a double glaze coating on all our origami paper to ensure it's longevity. It is still a delicate piece of jewellery and can tear or bend if handled harshly, and if exposed to certain chemicals like alcohol, perfume, or water. If your origami earrings do come in contact with water, gently place them in a dry place to airdry.
